Sore neck. Sure it's not muscular. No sore throat.

I have an ache in my neck. Sometimes it's a sharp pain. It's more to the front - near the larynx/thyroid rather than where the lymph nodes are at the side. There is possibly some swelling but I'm not 100% sure. I've noticed it for a good few days now.

I am not usually anxious about my health at all but I haven't been quite right recently. I wouldn't consider myself to have any new symptoms I could particularly relate to thyroid issues.

In all likelihood I will ignore it but should I be concerned?

Getting a GP appointment is almost impossible in my surgery so I'm not going to try to unless I have to.

Bedfordbelle don't ignore it, if it worries you than that's enough reason to put your mind at rest. Not likely to be anything but just telling the GP the problem and letting them examining you will help a great deal. I always encourage people to get it off their chests as health worries are distressing. So make that appointment now!
