I know there's a hard to digest sugar called raffinose in these foods that we don't have enzymes for but just wondering if it's across all humans or just those who have IBS/sensitive digestion?

Thanks

Brassicas and pulses are well known for causing wind. It's not just you.

It's not uncommon but not everyone gets it, I don't.

I don't.
I had constant bloating in my early 20s. It stopped after I moved country. At time I thought it was linked to eating bread, but I can eat lots of bread now (in either country) & no bloating happens. I don't know why.

Broccoli and cauliflower definitely yes!

Beans, not so much.

None of those trigger bloating in me - infact I have broccoli and cauliflower if my tummy is a bit delicate; I find it very easy to digest.

But I think there's probably a mix; some people will probably find them tough to digest!
