My dd2, nearly 3, just poked her finger into a chicken in the chiller at the co -op. the pack was already torn, so her finger def touched the raw chicken. she then sucked her finger.

would you be worried?

I remember my DD touching raw chicken I was preparing in bthe kitchen, then sucking her finger. She was fine and I'm sure yours will be too.

Unsavoury little mites aren't they?

ok. feel a bit betternow. also, am guessing the bloody parts would be a greater risk than the skin.
