Painful "balls" of hands

Firstly, I have terrible ptsd, hospital/GP phobia and health anxiety so if this is life threatening, please don't tell me Grin

My hands have started to get incredibly painful recently. Not my fingers or joints, but the actual lower palm.

When I press the area, it's very specifically a round feeling bone at the bottom of my palm on my little finger side. Both hands. My wrists are absolutely fine.

What could this be? They're so painful I'm struggling to pick things up as any pressure really hurts. I can't chop or hoover or push myself up when transferring from my wheelchair.

I don't think it's anything like carpal tunnel as it's so specifically those hand bones, and there's no pain anywhere else. I do have fibro but again, this is bone. I'm late 30s.

Thanks Smile

Dupuytrens Contracture?

My husband had this, if it is indeed what you have. It took a very simple surgical procedure to sort it. No GA, as a day case. HTH?

It's definitely not that, doesn't affect my fingers at all. I've just googled the anatomy of a hand and it seems to be the "pisiform" bone that's giving me trouble. Just no idea what's causing it.
