Give me your constipation remedies

Just that really!

I can't go and I'm fed up. I've suffered with chronic constipation but at the moment it's really bad. I'm now having sharp pains in my left side too.

I have laxido but it's not cutting it, trying to eat more broccoli, veg etc.

Please give me your tips to try, before I end up exploding (maybe that would be a good thing though )

Philomena it’s not been unknown for me to abandon my browsing and smartly go off in search of a loo. I was most annoyed when Waterstones on Piccadilly got rid of some of their loos, you have to go traipsing for miles now. Well, miles within the same —quite large— store.
