Naproxen experience

I've been prescribed Naproxen to reduce inflammation around a trapped nerve..I hate taking medication anyway but after one 500mg dose I feel so sick with stomach cramps and been vomiting, nauseous etc. They gave me a medicine ome something that protects the stomach and I took that, then an hour later ate dinner and took the Naproxen. I actually can't bear to take another one. I'm self employed and have to cancel all my work today due to this sickness.

So I'm just going to stop taking it. Anyone else? Am I supposed to battle through and eventually you get used to it?

Thanks everyone. I think the omiprazole was making me feel worse. I only took on naproxen today. Fell asleep on the sofa in the middle of the day and spent the rest of the day feeling bloated and tummy ache. I don't think I'll take another today. Do you get past the tiredness? I literally couldn't keep my eyes open

I've never been tired on naproxen. Coco Damon is the one I will fall asleep standing up on 😂

It's possibly the inflammation that's also making you tired - the fatigue is a battle in itself

Have you tried ibuprofen as an alternative to the Naproxen?
