Anyone's child had henoch schonlein purpura??

My child has jsut been diagnosed with HSP. We spent a night in hospital and are now home. Luckily she seems to have had it quite mildy with no side effects (we hope). She's still feeling v. unwell. If your child had it how long was it before they started feeling properly better and did it reoccur??

any help and advice i'd be really grateful.

My friend's dd has had it. She has quite a few other problems (learning difficulties, autism, epilepsy etc) so her situation was slightly different. However she hasn't had any lasting problems from it and it hasn't reoccured....

My post sounds a bit strange- when I said her situation is slightly different I meant she has other health problems as well (and her reposnse to illness is different) so it was difficult to tell how long it took her to get back to normal etc. I do know that my friend was worried about long term kidney problems but that didn't happen and it hasn't come back.
