MMR rash? Contagious

DD had the first MMR jab 12 days ago and very soon after came down with chicken pox. Just as this has been easing off this weekend she has become very upset and irritable, tired but no high temperature. We have noticed this evening that she has small pale lumps, like a heat rash, on her back and chest.

So, is this likely to be the post-MMR rash? If so, is she likely to be unwell for some time? And will she be infectious. I certainly hope not after us both being stuck in with the pox for over a week!

MMR rash is not infectious I beleive. One of my dc had this. Chicken pox are infectious though until the spots have stopped popping up. My dd has recently had then and this was what the gp told me anyway. Good luck, hope you can get out soon.

dd had a rash after her second MMR, tiny little pinpricks predominately round her ears and neck...hope this is it for you. unhappily for me eldest manky came down with chicken pox 2 days after dd had her mmr, and now she has that!
