A little bit TMI but.....

I'm on the mircogynon pill. Never had any probs with it at all.

However, period not due until next Tues/Wed and last night I had what I would call a show - bit like the start of period...brown etc....I've also been very hot, which happens to me at start of period.

This has NEVER happened to me in all the years I've been on the pill so any idea what could be happening? I had an upset tummy sat night (although didn't throw up) but it was so late in the evening, the pill for that day would have been absorbed into my system. I was also late taking it on Tuesday but still within the 12 hrs...

Now, it could be I've messed the pill up a bit so body is confused and starting a period or....

Well....DH and I had ahem...relations monday am......

Surely I couldn't be pregs that fast??!!!

Could be that the tummy upset and the late pill mean you are starting your period now

could be breakthrough bleeding (happened to me a fair bit on Microgynon)

keep an eye on it - if it happens again, go back to the doctor/nurse. They may want to change your pill (or do a check up to make sure everything's ok).

sounds exactly - and I do mean exactly - like how I felt when I started the pill many moons ago ( not on it now though). It was a different pill, ovranette I think.

I know! It was just before my work options appeal meeting and all!! DH said I needed something to cheer me up before I went...well...it worked! TMI again!! When will I learn to shut up???

I'm actually pretty tuned in to noises considering and I actually think I've learnt to use what little hearing I have better since DS has come along...he's so sweet though - he turns when the door bell rings or when DH comes into the room so he's already alerting me to things - bless....

No, I've been back on the pill since last Sept...I only breast fed for a few months so that's why I'm at the sudden wonkiness in cycle...never happened before!

Will just have to wait until Tues/Wed.....

I'm on microsgynon and I would expect to get a little bleed if I was late taking my pill ie, instead of taking it tuesday night I took it wednesday morning i would probably see something by thursday morning.

I was late, but still within the 12hrs....mmm...

Well, I wouldn't be too sad if was PG....
