Got this problem with both wrists during pregnancy with DD (now 5), but eventually it settled into just the right. 4 years ago, the rheumatologist gave me a cortisone injection which relieved it completely, although he warned that it could return. He referred to it as "nappy thumb", as apparently particularly common in new mothers.

Anyway, throughout today, my right wrist has been increasingly stiff and painful to the point where I'm now having difficulty making packed lunch for tomorrow, can barely pull my knickers up, & can't write!

Am really , as am a right handed, FT working lone parent & everything but everything in mine & DD lives depends on me functioning efficiently! GRRRR!

Not the end of the world I'm sure, but just wanted to have a moan really

Thank you for listening!

can't offer any help but can sympathise - i had this for a few years when i was younger and it was agony at its worst points. fortunately, it seem to havwe gone away now I'm older.
hope it gets better soon.
