Chicken Pox and Ezcema

This has probably been done before but DS (12 mths) has Chicken Pox and is covered in them. He seems to be managing quite well with the help of Piriton but I was wondering whether I should bathe him and apply his treatment for Ezcema as usual or wait until the spots scab over? His skin is actually in quite good condition at the moment so would a couple of days without any emollient lead to a flare up? I have also found that he is most affected by the pox excatly in the areas that his ezcema is most likely to flare up (shoulders and neck). Any advice would be appreciated.
