How long is it normal for swelling to stay after a bee sting?

I'm probably being overly anxious as usual but I've never had a bee sting before so I don't know what's normal.

I was stung on the finger at about lunchtime today.
My finger went very red and my whole hand was swollen. Not massively but enough that it's very obvious.

The redness cleared after about an hour maybe but the swelling doesn't seem to have gone down at all and it's still stingy around the site of the sting.
Is that normal??

I got stung recently. I was able to take out sting with tweezers.
But it was at least 10 days before the swelling fully went.
It was really sore 2,days later. I went to the pharmacist as I was worried but he said it was fairly normal. He gave me some bite relief cream
Take care of yourself. I got such a shock that I cried as it was so sore!!!
