Anyone had hand foot and mouth as an adult?

Hi, hf&m has been going round dds nursery, she caught it mildly, spots in mouth, ulcers, spots on face feet and hands.this was about 2 weeks ago.
Shortly afterwards I had horrific sore throat, mouth ulcers, no other symptoms. Assumed it was the hf&M. All passed, felt fine, been fine for about 10 days. Now yesterday horrific sore throat again, spots on roof of mouth and today a nasty rash around mouth. Temperature and aches and pains. Wondered if anyone has had it, can can it come in 2 phases? Can you have it without the hand and foot blisters?
How long did you have to stay off work? Feeling miserable Sad

I have and it, but all came in one go.... couple of mouth ulcers then full on blisters on hands (only 1 or 2 on feet thankfully)... ones on my face were concentrated around my nose. Crusty, manky and painful!! But all done in one go.

Yes i just got mouth ulcers nothing else - about 30 though truly hideous....

I had it as an adult, I caught it off my DS when I was 10 weeks pregnant. I have a fever, it came on really quickly. The fever lasted about 2 days. I had sore blisters on my hand, but only about 4 or 5. It took them a while to disappear completely but stopped being sore after about 4 days maybe.

I hope you get better soon. It’s not nice (and made me realise just how horrible it must’ve been for DS)

Yes-had a mouth and throat full of enormous ulcers. A few spots on hands but they were very insignificant.
The ulcers and sore throat were miserable. Possibly the worst I’ve ever felt (except perhaps mastitis)

Yes it was fairly hideous - I have a low immune system and I think I was the only adult to get it 🙄

I didn't get a rash I just had awful ulcers and blisters in my mouth and throat.

I had it too, just the mouth ulcers nothing else! They were terrible. From memory it was about a week or so, until they began to heal.
