Something is not right with my feet and its really starting to depress me.

I wear extremely sensible shoes for work - usually Hush Puppies but recently I have been in Crocs (I am in theatres) and after every single shift my feet are in agony and I don't know what to do. I am worried that I won't be able to cope as a nurse because of it

I have horrendous callouses on the balls of my feet, my heels are cracked and sore - I regularly exfoliate and look after my feet but nothing helps. I cannot wear heels, standing still for any length of time is complete agony, even in sensible Hush Puppies.

I know I walk on the sides of my feet, my big toe is small and does not really provide any 'support' and my little toe is curled under. I am sick of being in so much pain after every shift.

I am still waiting to see an NHS chiropodist and have been told its best to stay NHS because I will probably need to see them a lot.

This site does a really good range of insoles and foot products.
They offer advice on the products they stock and maybe they can offer some help?

I use a Newton's chiropody sponge and Flexitol heel balm to help my heels when they crack.
