fibroids - what were / are your symptoms?

i suspect this is my problem

have heavy periods
that drag on for days

a very dull ache very low in abdomen, on the left side always.
severe cramping even with nurofen.

having a scan next tues but just wanted a quick view from others.

blood tests clear.
smear clear too, last yr.

My daughter has just been diagnosed with fibroids, she has just strted the menopause and on HRT she started having what seemed like periods again, so was sent for a scan which revealed nothing but fibroids, she has had to come off HRT, but shes had no pain at all,
Although she has been to,told they are fibroids sjhe still has to see a Gynocologist
