DH is only 33 and suffers arthritis. Get him to see his gp as there are many different treatments, starting with gentle to more agressive. DH currently has to inject himself 2 times a week, but he has it badly and has tried everything else.

jandeb · 12/06/2007 22:53

what does/did he work as? was this the cause? or does it run in family?

does he drink lots of orange juice? Apparently it might be related. I have problems with my hands and only recently heard this. I've stopped drinking the stuff and my hands are better. Coincidence?

ComeOVeneer · 12/06/2007 22:55

Nobody in his family has it (or rather nobody so young, a couple of elerly relations are slightly arthritic). Nothing to do with his job either.

jandeb · 12/06/2007 22:57

no but always has vitC. He has been working hard on our new house for 1-2 years and we are blaming that but now the work has slowed down but no change, still very painfull.
