Sleep study - why might the results warrant an urgent referral?

I had an NHS home sleep study done to see if I have sleep apnoea after years of horrendous fatigue and the hospital told me I've been put on the urgent waiting list to see the consultant as opposed to routine.

Except the appointment isn't for another month and they wouldn't tell me why I'd been put down as urgent.

Of course nobody can say for sure, but just out of curiosity if anyone has had a similar experience, is it likely that I'm going to be told I have sleep apnoea or could I be told I need to repeat the test? I'm hoping they wouldn't make me wait 2 months from doing the test just to tell me I have to repeat it...

Thanks!
