Friend with reduced immunity and my cold

I have a friend who is having treatment for cancer and has reduced immunity. I'm supposed to see her on Friday and I'm coming down with a cold.

I do t know how the cold will pan out as my last one bizarrely lasted 2 weeks. However normally it's about 5 days.

I can't see my friend on Friday can I? I don't want to compromise her in any way.

I'd check with her. It depends how badly her immune system is. And how bored she is!

I seem to pick up every cold going even though people are really careful about visiting me with germs. So now I just welcome people with normal colds. But my immune system isn't completely wiped out, as it might be with her chemo type.

Either way, have a chat with her and maybe see how you feel nearer the time.
