Peter is back in hospital, kink in tube

the cannula tube from his left ventricle has a pretty large dent in it. it started small a few weeks ago and was told to keep an eye on it. today the dent is bigger, so he has had to go back in. he had to take everything with him, all spare machines, batteries, medication, overnight bag etc. no idea what they will propose, to replace the tube means open heart surgery and long recovery time.

Just seen this misdee, glads he is on the way home again, but why oh why will they not put him on the urgent list? Hoping that there will be no need to worry about kinks for long and the bleeper goes for him, Huge hugs xxxx

Dont know what to add misdee, I just keep praying you will get the call and get on with life, you have all been through too much already. Lots of prayers for you.

he is in bed, absolutly shattered from todays events really.

he has been swabbed for infection as the site is looking a bit sore. his case is beign re-presented again to transplant team & surgeons, and just back to waiting. am hoping the tube doesnt give up completely.

oh no misdee. Hope they put him on the emergency list this time x
