Feel like I’ve just given birth all over again. Except I haven’t. Just the surgery. (Births were 5 and 10 years ago). Dreading going to the bathroom. Hurts to sit down. Or walk. Please tell me this will get better soon.

(Flowers) for you OP. Can't give you much advice as have not had this, but really hope you feel better soon. I vaguely recall being advised to sit in salt water after giving birth to help with the healing, but this is way in the past and my not be current advice, so ask your nurses first.

Sadly I’m not allowed to get that area wet for 6 weeks. But thanks for posting. Just feeling a bit battered and weepy!
