Hiya! I'm brand new to this page! Not quite sure how it works!?! Advice needed please!
I got severe sunburn 4 months ago, totally accidentally. Those parts of my skin have itched since. I have not exposed my skin to the sun at all. I have just noticed lots of tiny new moles on the affected areas. Should I worry a lot more than I am?

Don't worry until you have reason too but instead go and see your gp just to be on the safe side.

Ugh, to not too. Clearly my English is appalling at 3am.

Dark moles, or could you have molluscum...?

Babypoppet3 · 08/09/2018 06:26

Thank you! I knew what you meant!

No! Definitely not! These are tiny moles the size of a full stop! It doesn't seem like they actually itch! It's just the areas where I was burnt! Thanx anyway!

Thank you for your reply! I just thought I'd try to find out what it could be!? (It takes weeks to get an appointment with my doctor!)

Have you googled for a similar picture? It sounds a bit like some kind of infection.

ragged · 08/09/2018 14:48

... or just post a pic of your skin here.

Desmondo2016 · 08/09/2018 14:52

Are they actually freckles from the sun damage. I'd get them checked out tbh.

RosiesYellowDress · 08/09/2018 14:55

I’ve just been to GP and had about zillion looked at all various colours and shapes all are fine.

I might have to have one zapped it’s a protruding mole had forever that became itchy and stingy starting bleeding which I must of caught it on something so I been recalled for check up, not because anything sinister. Dr was impressed with my magnifying photo skills of bit of mole I picked off that was irritating and eyesore 🤣

Honestly don’t google!

If I google I often find exactly what I have. Not been anything terrible so far.

Also find 2 million other things it could be almost none of which are harmful. When I do go to doctor, they diagnose something else I never heard of that also isn't harmful (so far).

MNers must be super good at only finding the awful things.
