DS 20months has had two unexplained fits

He was admitted to hospital and had blood tests and lumber puncher all tests came back that there is no virus or bacteria infections.

He is booked in for a eeg scan.

Has anyone else ever had this???

How frightening for you.
Ds2 had to have an EEG for seizures at about 2. The procedure is fine,they just have lots of wires stuck to their head and then have to do little tasks,like blowing a feather,while they take the trace.
Try not to worry,just take it one step at a time.

Did he have a high temperature? If so has the possibility if febrile convulsions been mentioned?

No high temperature and nothing found in his blood, urnine, poo or from lumber puncher.

We have to wait for 5 weeks till the EEG test.

Sympathies. I have no experience in this area, however we are currently waiting to see a consultant for ds and know how horrible it is just waiting.
