Mid 30s and suddenly have thigh pain with period?

Started around 3 months ago randomly when I had my period
It was so bad I had to go to bed.

Now I continually get twinge in my thighs through the month and just started AF again and very bad thigh pain.

It's the front middle, travelling down from the top of my thighs

Anyone else have this?

Yip. I get sore thighs too. Hot water bottle helps a wee bit.

I do but only since having children. My contractions were all in my thighs too

Yep I get this some months. Pretty sure it's just the nerves in your back (that run down your legs) getting irritated from your cramps. I get lower back pain the day before my period too.

So just another joyous symptom of woman hood. Great.

Yep.
I have endometriosis which was diagnosed when I was 28 yo. The thigh pain got worse until I had the endo tidied up via a laproscopy 5 years later.

PS. As your pain is a new thing, I would get it checked out by your GP.

I get an intense aching in my thigh bones around the start of my period; it started a couple of years ago when I was also mid-thirties.

I've read that calcium and magnesium levels drop at that stage of the cycle, which can lead to bone pain. I've never discussed it with a doctor, so don't know if that's true. I've also read that pain from uterine cramps can be felt in the legs, but I've never felt pain and cramping in my abdomen during a period, so I'd be surprised if that were the cause in my case.

Actually, now that flourella has mentioned it, mine does seem to have gone away once I started taking a multivitamin with magnesium in it.. maybe there is a connection there and you're slightly deficient OP?
