I want to know what I can and can't eat

and for how long

I have a rudimentary list but if I can pick someone's brains that would be great

am trying to get rid of thrush but found out after a week of detox that I am not supposed to be having bananas even

any help much appreciated

also how long does it take to work? (please don't see 'at least until the end of July' because I wanna go on holiday and not eat cabbage and rye bread)

I too have had various anti-candida diet experiences, and hat eot be the bearer of bad news.. cant see if anyone else has mentioned this but one of the must avoids is beer and wine as they are really high in yeast and suga (albeit in a different form!) sorry!! Yes tomatoes are a no no for all candida cases apparently (but usually people can tolerate yellow tomatoes for some reason - can get them in supermarkets in seed form or from garden centre) Other than anything thats sweet or yeasty there were others; grapes (and anything of this family), mushrooms as someones already said, white onion apparently I was told to avoid, will keep thinking. Are you attacking it just through diet (as candida tablets speed things up a bit - you can get them through chemist (just one strength) but mught be best getting an allergy person to tell you what strength you need - think thers a place in london ainsowrths that you get them from at different strengths. hth and will post again if I come up with anything else.
