My DS is 17 weeks old and has had a cold for 3 weeks, well the bogey part of a cold anyway.

it is waking him up at night every few hours cos he cant breathe properly. he is propped up on a blanket when he sleeps but this doesnt help alot. I have tried the nasal drops too but these work for a short while and then he back with bigger, harder bogeys than ever. The DR only suggests the nasal drops... Any advice

Everytime he needs his nose wiped wipe it with a warm (the warmer the better just not scolding) wet cloth, I have tried this with myself as well and it actually works really well, and it should help at least until he falls asleep.
