Looking for help/ advice on what disease or condition I could use for a case study for UNI?
Has to be something I can elaborate on with things like - lifestyle, statistics, genetics, childhood and things like such.
Thanks in advance X

Multiple Sclerosis. No one really knows enough about it - I have it - but they know enough for you to do a paper on.

I second thyroid disease.

Lifestyle: maintaining this is dependent on lifestyle. Also being over/under weight poses lifestyle changes.

It's genetic.

It is viewed as bad to be overweight/underweight or not depending on the culture so this could be an interest aspect to look into socially.

Thanks guys I’m thinking more along the line of diabeties because I can expand it well with environmental factors etc and other things? What do yous think?
I used MND last year and have also used stroke and still couldn’t find enough with these two to add into sociological and psychological theories . Hopefully I can with diabeties X

Lupus is a very interesting condition. You could focus of Systemic Lupus (sle) and then branch off into the sub categories such as DLE and SACLE. Auto immune disease in general has so much subject matter you'd struggle to find something NOT to discuss.

Cerebral palsy.

People think CP is people in wheelchairs. There are plenty who are fully ambulant and need to manage it via lifestyle, medication, physio etc

I’d use sickle cell disorder. Fits everything you have said perfectly
