Anyone know about neurology? What could cause this bizarre episode?

My DH had a very worrying experience this morning. He is being looked after- he phoned 111 who sent an ambulance. Paramedics don't seem too concerned but have spoken to his doctor and taken him off for a CT scan. They don't think it's a stroke, but don't seem to know what has happened.

I'm really just wondering if anyone has experienced something like this, or knows what could cause it? Basically, DH was in the shower and felt light headed. Then he said his hips started rotating left and right involuntarily, and he couldn't stop them. His legs were really weak so he could hardly stand. One hand twitching and clenching. Tried to call out but couldn't get the words out. It stopped after a while and he got back to the bedroom, but then had severe neck pain. It all just sounds so strange. DH was obviously very shaken by the whole thing.

Hopefully he'll be seen quite quickly, but any thoughts in the meantime?

DH had a suspected tia/ministroke but ended up as a migraine.

Try not to think the worse. The CT scan may or may not help. Sometimes our body just asks us to slow down a bit in its kwn way.

The medics will sort him out

Thanks for replying. I'm trying not to worry, the CT scan definitely seems to be more a precaution from what I can tell. It's all just so strange!
