Hernia on C-section how to cope with toddler

I've been having groin pains and back pains for a year. Doctors initially thought kidney stones and I've finally been sent back to the GP as the hospital couldn't find them. I went to a chiropractor to see if my back was its own problem and it is!(something I can fix) but I've now found out I have a hernia. I'm not able to even get it diagnosed at the moment since I'm not able to get a doctors appointment for 5 weeks (but will be calling daily to try and get a week appointment, as per the nurses instruction) I've got a medical support brace to help hold me together but I have a very active 2 and half year old daughter. If you have any advice on how to cope until I can get this sorted (which will be a long while on the NHS) I would be really grateful!
