Nodular & cystic acne on Nexplanon, Will my gp take it out willingly?

I've had it in 13 months for heavy periods & my skin is so bad I just don't want to leave the house.

I don't need it for contraception.

It's your body. Insist you want it out. Sounds awful! I doubt the doctor will be opposed considering the severity of your hormonal acne!

I got mine out recently for another reason, but I barely needed to push it (at the sexual health clinic, not the GP, admittedly- none near me had the training to administer/remove it!). I’d only had it in for 3 months! So you should be fine.

Op , make an ordinary Dr's appointment to discuss removal and your acne. There should be no problem at all as it has been in a while so it is not a knee jerk reaction added to which you are not requiring contraception.

I've got a telephone appt with someone who fits them tomorrow.

I have other more embarrassing side effects that I'm hoping will swing it.
