I have been getting swollen glands for the last few months. Sometimes they come up in my groin area but for the second time they have come up all along my jawline and down towards my chest. It is so painful. I have found it hard to swollow and to tilt my neck today, yesterday an the previous 2 days to that.

I have had a piercing about 4 months ago and i cant seem to conect it with that.

Any other ideas.

Not sure, but if they are causing you so much discomfort, it might be worth a trip to see your GP.

Have some early nights.. take some vitamins.. improve your diet.. drink loads of water. See if this helps. You could just be run down.

I do sometimes get swollen glands when I'm run down, but if they are causing you real discomfort, I would get it checked out, just to be sure.

I suffer from this too, I have swollen glands a lot and I am always tired. I used to take paracetemol and just get in with it. It started to get me down.

I saw GP and was tested for glanduar(?)fever, thyroid problems, liver and kidnet function etc. I also had throat swabs.

All tests came back negative but throat swabs showed a high level of infection. I am on my third lot of antibiotics in six weeks.

I am also waiting for an appointment at the fatigue clinic fr furthet investigation.

My Gp says that my body is exausted from trying to fight the infections. Please go to GP, the longer you leave it, the worse it wll get.

I will go now. It just to me sounded silly as i think he will just say it a viral thing, come back in two weeks blah bla.

Would suggest that you go to GPs and get your bloods checked.
