cut finger advice please

i stupidly cut my finger this morning. My little finger right on the inside crease. it bled quite a lot so i applied pressure then put a plaster on but have just noticed the plaster is not covered in blood and have taken it off and it has started bleeding again.

should i just put another plaster on and see how that goes as i dont think a trip to the hospital is necessary but dont want it to keep bleeding

im only asking as where the veins run up your fingers the cut is right over it now obv if i had cut the vein there would be blood everywhere but looking for reassurance that it wont damage my finger

Stick another plaster on.

buy some steristrips, to hold the edges together better than a regular plaster

put another plaster on it - it will help the wound to clot - when you took the old one off, it just pulled off the scab forming and opened it up again...leave the plaster on for a few days or until it falls off itself.
