Itching all over - think its a reaction - HELP!!!

Took a multivitamin and iron pill about 2 1/2 hours ago - new ones not had before.

Eczema on hands started itching a lot an hour ago, and now my whole hands, face, feet and stomach are pure hell - have drawn blood with the eczema.

I've tried washing them/moisturising/washing off moisturiser, then when the rest started itching too it occurred to me it could be a reaction to the pill.

The only antihistamine in the house is piriton which sends me hyper and makes my heart race in a scary way.

Is there some way I can ease this effect without taking the piriton, or would I be best to take the piriton?!?!

At the moment an ice bath is sounding appealing to numb all the itching!

Run a bath and dunk some porrige oats in it...

Hurrah - found some citirizine at the back of the drawer... only went out of date 2 days ago

Will go do the oaty bath whilst the pills kick in.

Even my bloody ears are itchy now!!

Will Calomine (sp?) lotion help Flame? Get your bath and then if it is still bad you could always soak bandages in ice water and wrap them round your limbs.
