Hi all

MIL started off with horrible vomiting bug yesterday morning around 7am, shes still being sick, DP got home from work at half 5pm, by 6pm he had disappeared upstairs with the same thing!

Ive woke up this morning and now we all have it I feel awful. I have a 14 week old ds who has only had one set of jabs and Im worrying myself sick incase he gets it!

Also have a 5yr old ds too

Any tips on not passing it on to them apart from the obvious washing hands erc...

Likely he will get it, unfortunately. We all had the same 2 weeks ago, despite being scrupulous. Do you BF? If not, could someone take your son for the day? If he does get it, get on to your GP straightaway and request a home visit and try to remember that babies are hardier than they look! Thinking of you all. xx

chip i bottle feed, there is no one, we live 200 miles away from family usually mil would help out but shes teh same.

NHS Direct pretty much said the same thing. And drink Coke? lol sent DP off to get some whilst hes feeling a little bit human.

How long did it last?

24 hours for me and DS (5). Just under 48 hours for DD (2). DD was running around and playing, so I don't think she actually felt as ill as we did. Unfortunately we had the runs too. We drank lots of flat lemonade as it was all we wanted. Good luck. xx
