Dh having difficulty swallowing lansoprazole, will they switch him to powder or can we just open the capsule?

He's fine with paracetamol capsules the same size but these are coming back up some nights.

If you can sprinkle it on a spoon of something and swallow it without chewing apparently.

I should have googled. Oh dear.

Ask GP/prescribing doctor for soluble tablets instead. In meantime if you open capsules and sprinkle them in soft foods eg yoghurt and make sure granules inside capsules are swallowed whole and not chewed. Hope this helps
