any thoughts on this?

J is currently cutting his back teeth (we have one thru but also looks like the other side are also on the way. anyhow. tonight is the 4th night on the trott he's gone up with baby neurofen. I hate to medicate him at hte best of times, but just wondering,
a) what's the 'usual' lenght of time you give meds for? and also
b) i'm keen for this not to become a 'prop' for him iycwim.

after a whole month of his screaming the hosue down come bed time we've given him the meds and touch wood he's been ok, tonight I didn't want to give them to him and he's been fussy again.

any thoughts?

see normally bb i'm the first type - but as I say the last 4 night - and it's only getting him off to sleep (althou sunday when it was cutting thru DH was up for 1.5 hours at 11 trying to sort him out). i'm sure it's teeth again but as I say how long do you give meds without it being an issue iycwim.

(he's been having 1 dose at bed and that's all - not needed anything else)
