Hi, hoping for someone with medical knowledge can advise. Last Thursday I got a crisp stuck in my throat immensely painful washed it down with water. Left with an acute pain in my windpipe and behind my breastbone when I tried to swallow. By Friday it had improved to the extent that swallowing fluids wasn't too bad and less pain in breastbone. Now Sunday and eating is still painful. I am going on holiday on Tuesday and think I am going to struggle to see my GP before then. I haven't been so far because it would mean an out of hours emergency appointment and I felt I was getting better. Not sure if anything can be done anyway? My breathing is not impaired no vomiting no blood. Thank you!

It's quite expensive but manuka honey might help.
