I think her hormones are raging at the moment she's very tall for her age but she has really got bad spots - any advice, she's using a Clarins face wash morning and night but other than that I'm at a loss. She's very self conscious about them

My daughter (14)went through a phase of spots, she tried all the clearasil stuffs etc but if anything they aggrevated it.

The only thing that worked for her was sudocrem,(the grey tub that is also good for nappy rash) she piled it on the spots in the evening, left it on for couple of hours, wiped the excess away before sleeping and it worked perfectly, she never has spots now!

Check out the archive stuff on the Radio 2 Jeremey Vine show website as last week, Dr Sarah Jarvis was there discussing skin, especially acne, and lots of good treatments for it. She also dispelled lots of myths which actually made the spots worse so good to check it out.
