i twisted my ankle a week ago, have not done a lot since then but had a major walking session today, its quite sore and I have a very distinct burning sensation in it - assume this means its healing, when should it be fully ok?

Did you twist or sprain it ? Mine still gives me slight twinges 6 months on and 9 sessions of physio later . Give it at least a month - 6 weeks.

Would call it a sprain if ti's still there a week later. A twist is usually better after a good night's sleep.

Prob a sprain, was very sore afterwards but after 24 hours was walking ok on it but today seems to have been too much!!

Cheers for info - will give it longer x
