Hello, just wondering if anyone would be able to shed any light on these blood tests I’ve had.
I had a full anemia profile and my thyroid levels checked because for the last grew years I have felt absolutely awful, fatigue zero energy, hair falling out, legs burning when I walk up the stairs etc.
I paid for them to be done but they don’t analyse them they just tell if they fall in the reference range or no, I’m guessing that the normal range.
If I want to actually talk to some one it’s another £150 so I thought I’d see if I can find anyone knowledgable on here first.
Basically all my levels are in the “normal” range but quite a few are only just in the lower end of normal and I’m wondering if this is why I am feeling so awful, ferritin for instance is 19, the range is 15-150, I’ve read that to feel good ferritin needs to be 50 or above so mine is way off that?
Here’s the other results, normal range in brackets :
Mean cell volume- 85.2fl (80-100)
Platelets 173 (150-410)
White blood cell count 4.2 (4-10)
Neutrophils 2.36 (2-7)
Lymphocytes 1.56 (1.50-4)
Monocytes 0.23 (0.20- 1)
Basophils- 0.02 (0.01- 0.10)
Serum folate 6.4 (greater than 3)
Transferring saturation 22% (20-55%)
My Thyroids also checked and level of TSH 1.6 (0.35-4.50)
Cortisol was 373 at 11am.
Any help appreciated, is it worth me going to my gp? Could any of these indicate why I feel so awful?
