embarrassing rash in embarrassing place - help

Does anyone know a quick cure for redness of hair follicles on front of bottom? I have shaved and waxed here recently and I think I was too vigourous and am now left with v ugly redness. HELP please. I am v sorry for the cringe-making nature of this post please don't be disgusted.

perhaps something like tea tree will help the skin to settle down.

Yes have tried that already and does not seem to have made a difference.

does it seem dry or just angry? If dry, try good old vaseline (certainly wotn hurt try it anyway) and if angry, how about aloe vera?
