9 days of on/off pains, nausea and diarrhoea

Any advice greatly received.
Last weekend I overindulged a bit on the gin. Then on Sunday I was out for lunch, having prosecco and suddenly felt very dizzy. I was then very very sick.
Mon-Thursday didn't feel great, hardly ate, had lots of things like pepto bismol etc. Had the odd bout of diarrhoea.
Then Friday I felt so much better. So much so that I ate lunch. Then felt floored again by 5pm.
Saturday was another day of being uncomfortable and a bit nauseous. Ate small amounts of foods.
Sunday felt ok again, ate a small lunch and small dinner. Couple of episodes of diarrhoea.
Today, felt ok, ate lunch, and I'm back to feeling awful. I took Imodium after getting advice from pharmacy. And dioralyte.
Since last sunday i have had gurgling through bowel and sometimes
behind right ribs.
What on earth is going on?
I kept thinking about seeing the doctor but would start feeling better.
I'm going on holiday tomorrow so am limited to what I can do, but just need some advice or reassurance, really. I avoided seeing the doctor over the past few days as I was generally feeling ok even though I had the runs.

Has the Imodium today been a mistake? Should I have tried to let it run its course?
Could it be the frozen veg recall issue, or wouldn't that last this long?
Can sunstroke be something that lasts this long?
Or should I be concerned that it's something to worry about? ('re the pain and gurgling, I have it in a mild form almost constantly under my ribs where my gallbladder used to be. I've been told this is very common after the surgery but could it actually be something more?)

Argh I'm getting myself upset at the thought of feeling like this on holiday, or ending up at the doctor in Greece 🙄🙈
