talcy0 - have you looked into your diet? May sound mad, but by cutting out certain things and introducing others, it really can make a difference. The main culprit that springs to mind is MILK. It clogs everything up (very scientific!) and urges the body to produce LOADs of mucus, yuk!

By introducing healing foods - loads of fruit, fruit and veg juices, water, garlic and onion in cooking etc then it can help suprisingly.

The best thing is to read up about diet and healing - a juicing book is invaluable, as well as a book about general health related to food.

If all that sounds a bit overwhelming, then I definitely urge you to look on the net about the negative impact of MILK - well worth it! Good luck.

i did addjust my diet halfheartedly when it all started.....suddenly developed asthma at the same time...introduced garlic, more fruit more water etc.....don't really include dairy procts in my diet as i'm not keen. Only really have milk in tea!

But i will do some reading and try to make a few changes....thankyou

I can't smell or taste anything anymore so food has become a nightmare task

i got it chronic too and dr says surgery to dangerous, i just have yo keep going for antibiotics. They dont really give much advice about diet, the last dr i saw said 'your just stuck with it'
He aslo said it maybe triggered by an allergic reaction.

well, I broke my nose very badly (someone dived into my face in a pool) - bone fractured out of my nose. They were picking out bone fragments off my cheeks - seriously unpleasant (owww). Now am proud owner of an 8 stitch scar right down the middle of my nose!

They operated to try and straighten/reset the septum and sort out the other bits (had trouble with sinuses before the accident).

Op wasn't 100% successful - I bled loads and they didn't manage to fully straighten my septum.

Sinuses felt great for a bit afterwards - it totally cleared them out but then, they started getting infected again. I did see an ENT and he gave me a very strong spray which meant I didn't get sinusitis for a year - it was AMAZING.

He said that basically, my sinuses were getting irritated by allergies and swelling up thus making them susceptible to infection. He sorted out the inflammation and I stopped getting the infections.

However, I don't think I'll ever be fully sorted cos the inside of my nose is too buggered.

Not long till your ENT appointment - fingers crossed he/she is a good one and can sort you out!
