My chest started hurting yesterday for no reason, it feels like I have been winded, my neck aches too and I have a slight headache, should I be worried?

OK it's probably just a chest infection if you can wait until 6pm. Have a good day

hi hopefully you did go and get checked out as my dad was experiencing similar pain to you, had a mild heart attack which he didnt know about had another two days later which got him rushed to hospital, luckily my brother was there at the time as he passed out sadly even with the hospitals help, he came home and had another heart attack a few days later that robbed me of my dad.
please please take this seriously even if it does turn out to be not so serious which i hope is the case take care.

would just echo everyone on this thread - any chest pain should be checked out to be safe. my Dad also ignored chest pain and has since found out he has an underlying cardiomyopathy.

Hope you've managed to get checked out totaleclipse.

If you're who I think you are (you changed your name a while ago )you live in the same town as me. I've not used the out-of-hours GP service but some of the practices are v good (esp the one that moved to the new purpose built building next to the nursery) -I've had phone consultations (when we were snowed in) and they've fitted me in as an emergency at the end of the day etc. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is phone for advice if nothing else. Please.

Is the pain under the ribs and around the right hand side at all? If so could be gall bladder problems. I had that back in Feb and it was bloody painful when moving around.

how did you get on ?
