I've already lost both big toe nails to ingrown problems. Both were due to stupid injuries (yes I'm a complete klutz!)
I've noticed recently though other toenails becoming curlier and I REALLY don't want to go through all that nonsense again - it was VERY painful and I actually ended up getting them removed twice as when they grew back they just went ingrown again so it was decided (to my relief) that they'd be treated so they wouldn't grow back.
Quick google as this is not my area, shows on image search that my nails are developing into pincer nails - is this another bloody age thing?
I'm 46, don't wear ill fitting shoes (mainly as I rarely go out - agoraphobia which lasts several months at a go so I'm mostly in slider style spa slippers) when I am in a going out phase I tend to wear trainers anyway as I also have a disability that affects my gait and ability to walk especially on uneven surfaces.
There's no sign of infection. They're just weirdly shaped.
I want to make sure I'm cutting/caring for them correctly please?
