Can you get chicken pox twice?

Ds been sent home with suspected CP but he only had it a few months ago. How common is it to get it again?

depends on how bad it was the 1st time I think , say if he only had 15-20 spots then its possible, if very severe not likely is what Ive heard / read.

youngest ds has had it twice mildly.gp said he could get it again.

One of my mindees had a bad case of CP an then had a less severe case about 6 weeks later.

You only catch it once, then it is ever present in your system (its similiar to the herpes) and so can flare up again
