dd is 22 months and had a fever since sat night, which has now susided and apeptite just started again today but now this evening a rash on trunk has appeared. should i be alarmed?

feeling alrmed to be honest. did the glass test and it paled when rolled over, hope that okay??

its just on trunk at the mo, mainly at the front and loks more like red bits of skin than pimples? anyone seen this b4?

It is probably a post viral rash and nothing to worry about. Both my lo's have had this under the age of 2, been unwell for a few days and just when you think they are on the mend they come out in major rash.
If they glass test was okay and she seems okay I would leave it until tomoprrow and call GP rather than panic and get NHS24 involved.

DD had this after a fever. It was a viral rash and a dose of piriton sorted it out.

It was very scary at the time though - we were on holiday and had been on the beach all day. Dd had been fine, it was only when we got back to the hotel and took her wet suit off that we realised she was covered in a rash! I worried that I had infected half the children on Watergate Bay, but a lovely doctor that we saw reassured me.

I agree - post viralrash/heat rash. I wouldn't be too concerned if it pales with the glass.

thanks this is reassuring, was just shocking to see since she is back to normal (alomst) and playing as normal now

I think the rash is a sign that the virus is dealt with and out of the system - hence the term 'post-viral rash'
