Hi all
My cousin (60) lives in Africa and started having pains about four years ago which she put down to digestion but which were actually gynae (she has been in denial) Started getting a fat tummy, realised it was serious a had a scan two weeks ago which showed a 9cm tumour in the uterus and her doc told her to come home to UK for treatment.
She's seen a doc here for bloods etc, and waiting for hospital appointment. There's also a lump at the site of her sterilisation (done 30yrs ago). She is not curious, doesn't want to know what will happen, is plainly terrified but putting a stoical face on it. Her sister died of pancreatic cancer a few years ago and she is scared of being that ill. I don't know anything about this cancer and wondered if anyone can tell me what's likely to happen and how likely she is to survive it. Tell me the worst so I can mentally prepare myself. She's my favourite cousin
Thank you
