Hi there

For the last 7 weeks I have had ill children and sick dogs, mum and dad have moved house and gran is going down hill fast due to illness. My problem is, I am excessivly tired and have tummy pain and sicky feeling all the time. What could this be?? I dont normally react to stress in this way but my mum does, can anyone tell me if they have ever had this.

Thanks

What was wroing with your dogs? If they were sick it could be a campylobacter lergy, dh and our dog had this once

One of my dogs has been in plaster for 6 weeks with a sore leg, the other one had a stomache bug but they ruled out anything which was transfereable to humans.

it's not carbon monoxide poisoning is it? The fact that you've all got it and the dogs too? They're normally flu type symptoms with feeling of being tired all the time.

No one else in the house has these symptoms. My dd currently has chicken pox, her sister has had a terrible run of illness with flu, chicken pox, eye infection, ear infection and now she has a respiratory infection. I have had this stomach thing for about 2.5 weeks now. It is not causing sickness or diahoreah (spelling) I am at a loss. Dogs illnesses I dont think are related. Just mentioned them to add to the stress levels.

i think it could be stress. Sometimes our bodies react in a way that they havent before. Sometimes I have been very stressed and not had anything to show for it, symptom wise, and then other times I have had a panic attack out of nowhwere.

Certainly sounds like you are run down. Perhaps you could try a pro biotic, more water, and regular small meals??

Any chance that you're pregnant?

Does sound how I get when completely exhausted though.

It is weird, I thought of being preganat and my mother is convinced I am. Haing had similar symptoms with dd1 I have done 2 tests and both are negative. I feel fine one minute and then the next minute I have an overwhelming desire to be sick. Then it goes again. I dont think it is a bug, may need to pop and see the gp me thinks.

you poor thing, this is a huge amount to have on any day let alone all together. It could really just be anxiety/stress.

Take some time out/off for yourself and get a tonic like Biostrath (most pharmacy- capsules better than syrup which tastes gross)to give your system a boost. If your symptoms carry on I would see a doc in the next week or so.

teafortwoandtwofortea · 22/05/2007 14:39

I think you need to see your GP if this is continuing. From my POV there are people who have migraines without the headache and part of that can be fatigue and nausea but TBH it could be so many things I really don't think speculating here is going to be helpful.

Hopefully it's just a lingering bug, but get yourself checked out.

Hi, have bought Minadex and have been taking that to try and boost myself. Started crying uncontrollably this morning cause my hubby was nice to me. I have my best friends wedding on Friday so will be leaving all my sick people at home with mil, Friday cant come fast enough though
