DD has another ear infection, both sides are red, as is her throat. As this is something like her 5th or 6th infection in <14 months of life she isn't having antibiotics (other than some topical drops). When she has had ABs previously she has been a lot better after 2-3 days. How long might the infection pain last without using them? She's been in a foul mood for a couple of days now so is obviously feeling it. And, while I'm at it, is there really nothing we can do for her throat? She was coughing literally all last night and I know from previous bouts that this can go on for weeks.
