ooooh verruca or for want of a better word, Wart!

MerryMarigold · 21/05/2007 14:25

verruca's are quite fun. i had one when i was a9. it was massive. it was called veronica and i had to put this stuff on to dry it out and then chop it off with a razor blade as it dried out. i almost want another one, very satisfying.

MerryMarigold · 21/05/2007 14:26

and verrucas. no apostrophe. like the shop near us which sells toiletrie's!

MerryMarigold · 21/05/2007 14:27

it's called victor...

foxinsocks · 21/05/2007 14:28

it's a virus basically tutter

you can get some stuff to paint on it from the chemist (just check re pregnancy)

also, keep an eye on it just in case it is plain old athlete's foot - although what you describe sounds like a verruca.

Tutter · 21/05/2007 14:28

ok, thanks all

I went to a chiropodist and he treated mine. took several visits - I was pregnant too.

If you can get to your foot?? try 'shaving'it daily with a hard skin remover(don't know real term, it looks like a cheese grater) this eventually removes all traces.
